Flora Design Studio & Atelier combines authentic passion and creative flair with every creation. Their floral designs intertwine bright colors, unique plants and flowers, nature, and European and Ikebana styles creating a stunning effect. Each piece created uses of lush blend of flowers and branches, fruits and vegetables as well as gorgeous silks, jewels, and paper textiles to combine a final product that is both sensual and evocative. Their designs tempt the senses with gorgeous color and fabulous scents leaving remarkable impression among guests and clients alike.
Heather Hughes is the Owner and Lead Floral Designer of Flora Design Studios & Atelier. With a degree in business Heather's first jobs were for buying operational supplies for various Fortune 500 companies. After years of corporate America work she decided to set the example for her daughter and teach her that women can do anything! She worked full-time and did events on the weekends while building her own company and clientele. She has worked as a floral designer for over 15 years, training under top designers, and finally opened her business in 2007. She has created events in Atlanta and San Francisco, and is a trend-setter in the floral design industry.
